Using FireWire Coolscans with Thunderbolt 4/5 PCs

Why?

For several years, the 'normal' way ofto usingconnect a FireWire Coolscan with a modern PC has been to use a combinationsting of Appleadapters adaptersconnected to a Thunderbolt port.
